Raman is a successful tech entrepreneur and private equity investor. He is the founder & former Vice Chairman/CEO of NASDAQ listed M*Modal Inc, a leading voice recognition, healthcare document technology company that he nurtured from a start-up until it was sold to One Equity Partners in 2012. Since then, he has actively invested in several ventures across India, Middle East and USA. He is also a limited partner in three large international private equity funds. He is a part of the board of THub- one of India’s most successful tech incubators and accelerators. Raman was the winner of the Ernst and Young’s Entrepreneur of the Year 2007 award for Maryland, USA, and was also honored with Maryland International Leadership Award by World Trade Centre Institute, Baltimore in the same year. Raman is currently the chairman and managing director of Aeries and CASHe, his latest venture in a fin-tech platform lending to millennials in India using AI, big data analytics and Blockchain technology. He was appointed as Chairman of Global Entrepreneur Network India at GES 2017.
P.A. Sudhir has full responsibility for executing the strategic direction and ongoing operations for the company. Sudhir is responsible for strategizing tax efficient financial architecture, leading a senior management team and ensuring optimal and cost-efficient services to the clients.
With experience across multiple industries, Sudhir has set up and operationalized unique business improvement and enhancement solutions for clients especially for the private equity-held portfolio companies.
In his previous role, Sudhir was the global controller of CBay Systems (later M*Modal Inc.) and prior to that, he was a senior partner at one of India’s oldest accounting firms where he specialized in audit, M&A, advisory services, corporate structuring, cross border transaction structuring, investigating diligence for large clients in technology, BPO, banking and financial services. He was also responsible in setting up new practice areas for the company.
Unni is a technology leader with extensive industry experience building Enterprise, Cloud & Mobility products across diverse verticals. He is passionate about building world class software products for real world solutions using cutting edge technology innovations. His current passions are Artificial Intelligence, Chatbots and Drones.
Prior to joining Aeries, Unni was Chief Technology Officer at CBay Systems (later M*Modal Inc.) – a leading voice recognition and healthcare documentation technology company. At CBay, he was responsible for global technology vision, product engineering roadmap, technical support and infrastructure management. Prior to CBay, he worked with Avaya Inc., where he was instrumental in setting up their India Offshore Development Centre for their CRM, IVR, Predictive Dialers and Unified Messaging products. He also worked in the storage management industry at Legato Systems (later EMC) in multiple global locations and across various product engineering roles.
Ajay is responsible for Aeries’s US operations including client management, business development, front-end communication, transition and business operations, and works closely with private equities and their portfolio companies in defining global delivery solutions & strategies.
Ajay is a successful executive with experience in business operations, strategic planning, & client relationship. He has a diverse background with deep knowledge of all aspects of the life cycle of organizations including start-up, funding, early-stage planning, implementation, go to market, new product launch, M&A, private equity driven deals and integrations.
Ajay’s past experience includes founding a startup, WhiteSpace Health, with focus on healthcare data analytics and business intelligence. From 2012 – 2015, he was the VP of Strategic Operations for M*Modal, a healthcare technology company, and was instrumental in new product launch for revenue cycle management, P&L for clinical documentation business with $250 million revenue, and managing cost initiative for delivery organization. From 2007 to 2012, Ajay managed worldwide operations for CBay systems and was part of the team that acquired MedQuist & Spheris in PE funded deals.
Yogi leads the firm-wide finance organization with includes corporate finance and accounting, financial planning, mergers and acquisitions and risk management. As a member of the executive leadership team, his primary objective is to support achievement of the firm’s strategic objectives, including near-term and long-term profitable growth and operations.
Yogi has multi-industry experience in leadership positions in finance and accounting functions. He has worked in M*Modal as the Global Controller and Vice President Finance and recently as the Asst. Vice President, Finance at Trafigura, Mumbai. Yogi is a Chartered Accountant (India), Certified Public Accountant (USA) and a Diploma holder in IFRS from ACCA, UK
Sheetal leads the HR Agenda for Aeries with focus on enhancing Aeries’s HR-business operating model across India offices to strengthen employee engagement, human resource strategy and policy, including talent management and employee benefits across the company. She comes with holistic HR experience in the Technology, ITeS, Banking and Financial Services sector within India and the Asia Pacific region.
Prior to joining Aeries, Sheetal was the Associate Director, HR, at UBS AG, Singapore, where she led their HR strategic change program for UBS’s 13 APAC countries. She was also their Subject Matter Expert for India HR advisory & operations’ process transformation to HR ASC Hub, Singapore. At UBS, she played a key role in transforming their India Benefits and Leaning Administration programs to their Hong Kong and Poland centers respectively. Prior to moving over to UBS Singapore, she managed UBS India’s HR Advisory & Operations which involved Talent Management, Rewards & Benefits, Learning & Development and Talent Acquisition programs to name a few. Previous to UBS, she served Orient Technologies as their Dy. Head of HR with a similar role for that organization.
She holds a PGD in Human Resource Development and Management from St. Xavier’s Institute of Management in Mumbai
